-Entrenches digital transformation
In furtherance of its commitment to digital transformation aimed at enhancing and sustaining efficient service delivery to Nigerians, the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare recently exposed some of its staff to embracing Service-Wise GPT.
Speaking during the training session, held recently inside the ICT smart room of the Ministry, Mrs. Ramatu Bello, Deputy Director Information Communication & Technology Department in the FMoHSW and, Ambassador Service Wise-GPT, stated that the specialized digital tool is powered by AI – designed by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation to enhance productivity, streamline workflows and, support decision making across MDAs.
Elaborating further with practical insights, the Deputy Director admonished the trainees to regard Service-Wise GPT as a strategic asset, in view of its numerous benefits if embraced and adopted into the daily operation of departments in the Ministry. She affirmed that it will improve responsiveness, reduce bottlenecks and, foster a culture of innovation among staff.
While highlighting other applications of Service-Wise GPT during her presentations, Mrs. Bello emphasized its ability to assist in drafting memos, emails including policy briefs with improved speed and, accuracy; supporting research and data interpretation for Health programs, enhancing collaboration through shared knowledge and document generation amongst others.
Additionally, Mrs. Bello urges staff of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare to embrace and leverage the specialized digital tool, stressing it’s importance as a trusted partner in achieving efficient and effective public health service delivery.
She assured that the ICT Department of the Ministry is committed to providing guidance to the Departments through the onboarding process, with continuous training sessions and support materials to achieve seamless digital transformation in the work place .
It would be recalled that the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack OON, mni; at various fora including the recently held 3rd edition of Public Service Live With HoCSF, re-affirmed Service Wise-GPT’s ability to enable civil servants work smarter, faster, and more inclusively while ensuring transparency and accountability.
She also, emphasized that the government is dedicated to delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda through an efficient Federal Civil Service, and the Service Wise-GPT is a significant step in this direction.
