Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen of the Press and thank you so much for honouring our invitation to this maiden press briefing on a Saturday evening.
My name is Muhammad Ali Pate, and I am the Honourable Coordinating Minister for Health and Social Welfare and I’m joined by the Honourable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare Dr Tunji Alausa.
I want to start by telling you a story. A sad story about two incidents that partly reflect the current state of Nigeria’s healthcare system.
